Will our marriage survive the pandemic?
When we took our wedding vows, the minister never mentioned the pandemic. He never said a word about you being away for weeks and months on end, or about the crushing lonelines that I’d have to endure, locked away as I was. If it wasn’t for this guy chatting me up, I don’t know what I’d do. We never acted on it, though – not until this night. I felt bad at first, but not anymore. If you’re not going to take care of my needs, I’ll just find someone who will.
